We had no plans for this trip from kodiak networks, 13 of us started off for a three day trip, late on 7th June 2007. We did dine in a Dabba that night near Tumkor, food was simple but good.

YAANA
Yaana is located near to the Sagar town on west Ghats of india. There are a few tall monolithic rocks about 100 mts high, which can not be climbed. To reach this place, we took winding roads around the hill, for around 30 kms There are few water ways, drinkable and we used them. there were no shops near by. Yana was a wonderful place, were we started. The too was wonderful. unfortunately leeches invade couple of my friends. we used salt powder ( Nacl ) to prevent leeches from further troubling us.
GOKARNA BEACH
Our next stop was a coastal area of karward district. it was a beautiful gokarna beach. The sea shore is on the down stream of western ghats.this beach is named differently within this area with respect to its sea bed shapes OM beach, kundle and main beach... West coasts naturally differ with east coasts in climates, shapes and surrounded with hills. Here climate is cool, little humit.

OM Beach
In OM beach the sea water was muddy and not easy accessible, In Main beach we were in sea bed some time and stayed in a hotel in a single big hall. The food was not the level best.
The next day, we went to the historical place,
associated with Mahabharatha, Mythological character ravanan and Ganapathi with great Shiva characteristics. Shiva linga is under the ground and there is small whole on ground, through which people touch shiva's head and offer prayers,
note: Men should not were shirt to offer prayers. This temple is near to Main beach of Gokarna.
MURUDESHWAR
This place is 70-90KM near to the Gokarna, it’s another beach area,
the view and location are very good, and we stayed in RNS hotel which is a star hotel.
This is located 10 feet above sea level and right side of great Mudreshwar temple, with the great Statue of Shiva and Maha Bharatha Argunan and Krishna ratham. When we were travelling to Murdeshwar it was raining good. after that we reached hotel and left our belonging there. we went to sea shore by evening, sky was dull, raining and we were in sea shore that was a amazing and memorable moment. we came back to hotel at 8pm and then took a hot tub bath. Next day morning we went to beach again and to bit into the sea. We did most of fun play with sand, we continued our swimming in a swimming pool further in the hotel restaurant. Further we visited the God Murdeshwar, and left to the Jog.
JOG FALLS
Our last stop
was at Jog falls approximately 40 kms from sagar town, also in western ghats, its one of the highest falls in india. I were very much interested to take bath, without knowing the height and depth of the place, but summer had promted less water. we ended here.
